Management Board

The Management Board comprises senior academics from the plant, crop, agricultural, computational and engineering sciences and is the primary decision making body of the PhenomUK Research Infrastructure.

The Management Board is Chaired by the Director, Professor Tony Pridmore, and supported by the Project Manager, Ms Claire Hayes. Among other responsibilities, the Management Board oversees PhenomUK Research Infrastructure’s policies and procedures and approves and monitors progress, drawing on advice from the Project Advisory Board.

It also oversees the management of risks and liabilities of the Scoping Project and is responsible for reporting back to BBSRC. The initial Board members were selected following a community workshop and open invitation to participate and together have a strong track record in the development of new phenotyping technologies, the design and operation of phenotyping facilities and their use to address core scientific questions.
