Machine learning: An introduction for plant phenotyping researchers

The aim of this in-person workshop is to provide an introduction to the topics of machine learning and deep learning to plant science researchers interested in plant phenotyping. PhD students working in this area are also welcome.

Outline of the day:

Start: 10am, End 2.30pm.

Morning: Introductory talks introducing the key concepts in machine learning and deep learning

Afternoon: Practical session demonstrating a deep learning example on plant phenotyping image data

A lunch will be provided.
